of our necklaces are under the price of 100.00. Regardless of
stone or size.
My goal is to
provide a simple, but elegant necklace, that everyone can afford
and enjoy. My necklaces are very versatile and can be worn with
a Black Dress or Jeans.
They are one
of a kind, and cannot be replicated. We use only the finest Gemstones,
Fresh Water Pearls, Copper, Pewter, Silver and Gold. Swarovski
Crystals are used in most of our designs to create an atmosphere
of warmth,and in some cases glamour.
All necklaces
will arrive in a Black Gift box ready for wrapping.

About
Me
 Design
has always been a passion in my life. At age eleven I would disappear
when visiting the department store to find the fabric section.
Combining all the colors and patterns I could find, I would then
wrap them around my body visualizing how I would make a dress
out of the fabric. Then went home and made it. Later I used my
design talents to work with fabric to decorate my homes. I also
put my creative ability to work by creating elegant rose and perennial
gardens. All this came very easy to me. The finished product has
always been very rewarding and satisfying.
Then I discovered Gemstones
On
a service trip to Bangkok, Thailand last summer I became captivated
by the amount of Gemstones available. There is one entire street
dedicated to Gemstones. I went from store to store. I started
pulling them off the walls. I had a basket full of textures, colors,
gemstones of different sizes, some with animal spots, some clear
and some opaque. The colors mesmerized me. I was so excited. The
most amazing part of this ordeal was that these beautiful pieces
were just minerals that form in rocks and sediments. They were
stones. Gemstones. I didn’t buy the stones, I bought ready made
necklaces using a selection of the stones and came home to the
United States. I took a look at the necklaces, and said: I can
do that. I have since purchased better quality stones form a reputable
Gemstone supplier here in the United States, and have added my
own style, Swarovski Crystals, Copper, Silver, Pewter, Gold filigree
and Fancy Magnetic Clasps. My son Mitchell has also contributed
a few designs in this collection. My name: Black Dress Gemstone
Jewelry came from an exhaustive search for a necklace, under $100.00
to wear with a little black dress. I am happy I didn’t find that
necklace. I made it instead, out of real gemstones, not glass!
Please
note different monitors project different colors on the jewelry.
I have shown a close up of each piece of jewelry so you can see
the different grains and inclusions in the stones. You will find
your necklaces very unique, the stones never perfect, as natural
stones are never the same. This adds to the uniqueness and beauty
of your necklace
Another
passion in life: Abandoned Children. 20% of my profits will go
to the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home, in Bangkok, Thailand. The
Thai Red Cross Children Home takes care of orphans, abandoned
at the hospitals in Thailand by their parents. Here the children
are provided a stable and nurturing environment until they are
eligible for adoption.
